History
This program began in 1996, when volunteers in Chaska decided to devote one day in May to repair and spruce up the homes of low-income, disabled, and elderly neighbors in the community. Although springtime is well-under-way, Christmas spirit is returned to the community during the month of May through giving back to those in need. We celebrated 20 years this past year and wish to see many more years to come.
Within the pool of volunteers, our community-wide event has historically seen a great turn out. Alongside the many families and individuals that volunteer, clubs and groups throughout our community sign up together for team bonding, volunteer hours, and a great experience.
