Christmas in May volunteers help change the lives of our Chaska neighbors. Typically, we need both skilled and unskilled volunteers to help us rehabilitate the homes of Chaska residents who are unable to make the repairs.
Christmas in May has historically had an outpouring of volunteers, and we are thankfully for the enthusiasm to give back to our community! Alongside the families and individuals who volunteer, clubs and groups sign up for team bonding, volunteer hours, and a great experience.
To volunteer, please complete our volunteer registration form at the bottom of the page.
You should plan to attend the kick-off continental breakfast at the St. John's Lutheran Church gym (300 E. 4th St.) at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 6. The entrance to the gym is located on 4th Street in Downtown Chaska.
During breakfast, volunteers should talk with "House Captains," who are project managers for each house. Each House Captain will have a sign-up sheet for volunteers to pick their housing assignment. All volunteers must sign up before going to a house site.
If you are under the age of 18, you will need a Minor Release and Waiver form signed by a parent or guardian. Please bring the signed Minor Release and Waiver form with you.
